Abstract
Bu çalışmada; Prusya ve Almanya Generali Otto Liman von Sanders tarafından “Türkiye’nin Hürriyet Harbi” adıyla yazılan ve Prusya (Almanya) Askeri Dergisi’nde yayınlanan makale konu edilmiştir. Otto Liman von Sanders’in bu çalışması Almanca’dan Osmanlı Türkçesi’ne çevrilmiştir. Bu çeviri Matbu’ât ve İstihbarât Umûm Müdürlüğü tarafından yayınlanan “Matbu’ât-ı Ecnebiye Hulâsaları” içerisinde yer almış, 25 Mart 1923’teki 154 numaralı sayısında okuyucuların bilgisine ve hizmetine sunulmuştur. Burada, bu eserin metin aktarımı ve günümüz Türkçesine çevrisi yapılmış, çeşitli değerlendirmeler yapılmış, anlaşılır kılınmıştır. Milli Mücadele’ye ve Türkiye’nin kurulma sürecine dışarıdan bakan Otto Liman von Sanders’in yorum ve değerlendirmeleri ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuna, başka araştırmacıların da farklı yorum ve değerlendirme yapabilmelerini sağlamak için, Osmanlı Türkçesi ile yazılmış metin eklenmiştir

Abstract
In this study, the article entitled “The Turkish War of Independence” which was written by a German and Prussian general Otto Liman von Sanders and published in a Prussian (German) military magazine is mentioned. This work of Otto Liman von Sanders was translated from German to the Ottoman Turkish language. This translation appeared in “Extracts of Foreigner Press” published by General Directorate of Press and Intelligence, and submitted for readers’ information and service in the 154th Issue on March 25, 1923. In this study, today’s Turkish translation and quotation of this work as well as its evaluations were done and therefore it became more understandable. Furthermore, in the article the evaluations and comments of Otto Liman von Sanders, who was objective to the War of Independence and Turkey’s foundation process, were presented. The text written in the Ottoman Turkish language was added to the end of the study in order to help other researchers comment and evaluate it from various perspectives
