Abstract
1930 yılında kurulan ve 99 gün süren kısa muhalefet ömründe ülke çapında oldukça önemli etkiler yaratan ve kuruluş sebepleri ile ilgili değişik görüşlerin tartışıldığı Serbest Cumhuriyet Fırkası’nın, bu kuruluş sebepleri arasındaki iktisadi boyutu da en az siyasi boyutu kadar incelenmeye değerdir. Gazi Mustafa Kemal’in “Ben fâni bir insanım, ölmeden evvel isterim ki millet hürriyete alışsın”1 sözleriyle belirttiği üzere sağlığında demokrasinin ülke içerisinde tesis edildiğini görme arzusu, liberal ekonomi görüşüne sahip Serbest Fırka ile vücut bulmuştu. Ancak ne var ki dönemin şartları liberalizme müsait değildi. Gazi aslında klasik liberalizmi benimsememiş biri2 olmasına rağmen, yine de liberalizmi temel alan bir oluşumu desteklemiştir. Bu bağlamda, kendisinin ekonomi görüşü ile dönemin ülke ve dünya konjonktürü ele alınarak incelenecektir
Abstract
Economic aspect amongs the reasons of establishmet of Free Republican Party, founded in 1930 and created rather important effects throughout the country in the ruling life lasting 99-day, worths examining at least as important as political aspect. As said by the words of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal, said that “ I am a mortal person. I want to see that society get used to liberty before I die.”, his desire to see the carrying out the democracy throughout the country while he was alive came true with Free Republican Party which had liberalist economic view. However, conditions of period were not suitable for liberalism. The reason of his supporting this establishment although Ghazi adopted classical liberalism will examine with his own economic view from the point of state and world conjuncture of the period
