EMERGENCE OF MOVEMENT OF TURKISM IN TURKEY AND HEARTS

Abstract

The Turkish nationalist movement in Turkey has begun to emerge in the 19th century and has begun to develop in all areas of social life, particularly in the areas of language and literature. This movement gained corporate identity and the direction of politics thanks to the establishment of Turkish Hearths. This society established under the leadership of the military medical students who see the future of Ottoman Empire in Turkish nationalism, has become an important school where state policymakers have been educated. At the end of the First World War, the Turkish Hearts, which had to interrupt their activities due to the occupation of Istanbul by the Allies, carried out activities to adopt the values of the Republic to society in Turkey until the new center was closed in Ankara in 1931 and left its place in the People's Houses.
