Abstract
In the world economy, radical exchanges in the economical, social, communal and technological sense are happenning. These exchanges cause that knowledge spillovers and innovation become an exponential important in the literature of economic growth. Knowledge spillovers and innovation take place among new identifiers of growth and competitive atmosphere in the world economy. Knowledge spillovers cause that innovation happen or current innovation process accelerate also and this interaction arouse economic growth. Therefore, it is important that companies that adopt sustainable economic growth as basic aim, industries and countries focus on knowledge spillovers and innovation. The aim of this study is to explain interaction of knowledge spillovers, innovation and growth that have close relationships among each others and to assess where is Turkey in this interaction.

Abstract
Dünya ekonomisinde ekonomik, sosyal, toplumsal ve teknolojik anlamda köklü değişimler yaşanmaktadır. Bu değişimler bilgi yayılımlarının ve inovasyonun ekonomik büyüme literatüründe gittikçe artan bir önem kazanmasına neden olmaktadır. Bilgi yayılımları ve inovasyon, köklü değişimlerin yaşandığı dünya ekonomisinde büyüme ve rekabet ortamının yeni belirleyicileri arasında yer almaktadır. Nitekim bilgi yayılımları inovasyon meydana getirilmesine ya da mevcut inovasyon sürecinin hızlanmasına neden olmakta ve bu etkileşim ekonomik büyümeyi canlandırmaktadır. Bu nedenle, sürdürülebilir ekonomik büyümeyi temel hedef olarak benimseyen şirketlerin, endüstrilerin ve ülkelerin özellikle bilgi yayılımları ile inovasyona odaklanmaları oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, birbirleriyle yakın ilişki içinde bulunan bilgi yayılımları, inovasyon ve büyüme etkileşimini açıklamak; Türkiye'nin bu etkileşimde hangi noktada bulunduğunu değerlendirmektir.
