ÇOCUK DOSTU OTEL İŞLETMELERİNİN KORONAVİRÜS (COVID-19) BİLGİLENDİRMELERİ ÜZERİNE KARŞILAŞTIRMALI BİR ÇALIŞMA

Abstract

Bu çalışma, çocuk dostu otel işletmelerinin web sayfalarında sunduğu Covid-19 bilgilendirmelerinin karşılaştırılmasına odaklanmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında Türkiye, Yunanistan, Fransa, İtalya ve İspanya'da faaliyet gösteren ve TripAdvisor seyahat platformunda en yüksek puana sahip her ülkenin ilk 20 çocuk dostu otel işletmesi incelenmiştir. Çocuk dostu otel işletmelerinin Covid-19 bilgilendirmelerinin karşılaştırılması için16 kriter belirlenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre en fazla bilgilendirmenin Yunanistan'da faaliyet gösteren çocuk dostu otel işletmeleri tarafından gerçekleştirildiği tespit edilmiştir. Yunanistan’ı sırasıyla İspanya, Türkiye, İtalya ve Fransa'da faaliyet gösteren çocuk dostu otel işletmeleri izlemektedir. Ayrıca çocuk dostu otel işletmelerinin %80'inin web sayfalarında Covid-19'la ilgili özel bir sayfa oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte çocuk dostu otel işletmelerinin %16’sı Covid-19 şüphesi durumunda gerçekleştirecekleri eylem planlarını misafirlerle paylaşmışlardır.
