Esir Şehrin Mahpusu’ndan Hareketle “Dar Yer”de İnsan

Abstract

Takiyettin Mengüşoğlu, İnsan Felsefesi adlı eserinde insanın varlık yapısını 17 temel kategoride ele almaktadır. Edebiyat incelemesine farklı bir bakış açısı getirmek üzere söz konusu varlık kategorileri edebi metinde yer alan şahıslara da uygulanabilir. Bu çalışmada Mengüşoğlu’nun tesbit ettiği kategoriler Kemal Tahir’in “Esir Şehrin Mahpusu” adlı romanında yer alan mahpus tipine uygulanmış ve Kemal Tahir’in romancılığı konusunda bir sonuca varılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Human Being in “The Prisoner of the Captivated City”

Abstract

Takiyettin Mengüşoğlu deals with the structure of existence of the human beings in 17 categories in his work İnsan Felsefesi (Human Philosophy). To provide a new perspective in literary analilysis, these categories could be applied to the caharacters in literary texts. In this study, Mengüşoğlu’s categories have been used to discuss the prisoners in Kemal Tahir’s Esir Şehrin Mahpusu (The Prisoner of the Captivated City), and make judgments about Kemal Tahir’s authorship.
