Abstract

Ulusal çıkar kavramı, uluslararası ilişkileri belirlemede çok önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu kavramın uluslararası alanda taşıdığı önem, 1950-1963 dönemindeki Çin-Sovyet ilişkilerinde çok açık olarak görülmektedir. Bu dönemde Çin ve Sovyetler Birliği, ideolojik birlikteliğe rağmen, ülkelerinin çıkarları için amansız bir rekabete girmişlerdir.
Orta Asya üzerindeki nüfuz mücadelesi, komünist kardeşliğe dayalı Çin-Sovyet ittifakını sona erdiren en önemli unsurdur

Central Asia in the Period of Sino-Soviet Alliance (1950-1963)

Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of Central Asia Dimension in the period of Sino-Soviet alliance (1950-1963). In this study two main ideas have been concluded. The first is that 'national interest' is the most important thing in specifying interstate relations. Despite the ideological unity in the alliance period, the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union could not escape a sharp struggle on the base of national interest.
The second is that the Central Asia dimension was the most important factor to specify the national interest in the context of Sino-Soviet relationship. The struggle for Central Asia affected the overall Sino-Soviet relations in the alliance period.
