Hz. Muhammad is the last prophet that Allah sent to earth. In addition to being the last prophet, he was also given the qualification to be universal. The Prophet who interacted with people from his nation during Mecca, after the hijra the Prophet communicated with the polytheist Arabs and Jews in addition to those who believed in him in Madinah. As a result of these communications, he took the necessary political, commercial and military steps for the future of Medina. So much so that he included these groups in the Medina contract he wrote while establishing his state. However, the Jews disregard the commitments they made and the contract they signed and he opposed the Prophet and betrayed him. Some even went even further and attempted to kill him. As a result of this, they were taken out of Madinah and all their properties remained as booty for Muslims. The Jews And the Prophet’s relations are generally like this, it is interesting that when the Prophet passed away, there are narratives that the armor he had used in his previous expeditions and wars was a pledge to a Jew in exchange for some food. It is not entirely clear what the Prophet received from the Jew and what he gave pledge in return. Those who narrated the event are not in alliance. Although there were Companions among those who narrated the incident, this event was reflected in the sources two hundred years later. The narratives were analyzed, supported by various sources, and necessary evaluations were made. As a result, no evidence has been found regarding the possibility of such an event in the life of the Prophet. The subject of this article is to reveal with scientific data and discussions whether this incident, which is the subject of the narratives, is compatible with the information of Sirah and Islamic history.
