This study evaluated the performance of the central library at International Islamic University Chittagong in Bangladesh and tried to measure the operational process of “Koha open source integrated library system (ILS)” at IIUC, Bangladesh by using primary and secondary data sources. The study finds that the Koha open source is successfully used for the daily library activities and it adds a distinctive value for ensuring quality University education at IIUC for engaging ILS. To measure the satisfaction level of users, a total of 68 users were interviewed with a questionnaire-based survey. Users were asked what automation services they like most and to rate their opinion on the specific library services on a five-point Likert scale. User status computed the users' response to overall satisfaction through ANOVA. The finding shows the overall satisfaction ensured favorable appreciation by the library users. This study assists the decision makers to give more values to the core library activities and also give inspiration to other university libraries in Bangladesh. Besides, this study will help the management of the private university libraries in setting up plans and technological strategies.

satisfied with the circulation process with koha. In rating automation system
the largest group of 54.4% had ‘Excellent', 29.4% rates ‘very good’ and 14.7%
rates it ‘good’. This study assists the decision
makers to give more values to the core library activities and also give
inspiration to other university libraries in Bangladesh. Besides, this study
will help the management of the private university libraries in setting up
plans and technological strategies.
