A Suggestion To Ensure Speech Privacy In Multi-Bed Treatment Units During Covid-19 Pandemia

Year 2021, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 7 - 18, 30.06.2021

Abstract

Health data are considered within the scope of special quality personal data. The protection of the privacy of health data is subject to laws and its negligence to criminal sanctions. In the Covid 19 pandemic process, the first goal is to stop the spread of infection, and due to the seriousness and urgency of the cases, there are some violations of the right to privacy in emergency services. In the coming years, experts agree that new pandemic processes may be experienced with unpredictable violence, interdisciplinary studies will support health problems to be experienced in pandemic processes, and ethical problems that may be experienced will be prevented. In this study, in order to make a differential diagnosis of Covid-19 during the pandemic process, the parameters related to the privacy of speech within the scope of information privacy in the field of health in the multi-bed treatment units where there are many patients due to the long duration of the tests, and the separation elements used in the multi-bed treatment units Within the scope of the effects of interbed distances on speech privacy, TS EN ISO 3382-3 Measurement of acoustics - room acoustic parameters - Part 3: In line with the open plan offices method, STI (nearest), D2S, rp, AI, PI, Alcons parameters researched with the analysis made through the Odeon 15.16 simulation program. Confidentiality of speech and applicability of the proposed method in multi-bed treatment units were evaluated with the findings obtained.
