In the energy sector, which is a high-risk sector, it is important for enterprises to have financially strong infrastructure in order to sustain energy production. The sustainability of the enterprises is ensured by making financial performance measurements in reducing the risks related to the performance of the companies and examining the soundness of their financial infrastructures. In this context, it is aimed to evaluate the financial performance of enterprises in the energy sector with Entropy-based ARAS and GRI methods. In the study, eight enterprises operating in the Borsa İstanbul Electricity, Gas and Steam Sector were selected as a sample and the financial data used within the scope of the evaluation criteria are obtained from the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) data distribution system. According to the results of ARAS and GRI method, in which the weights obtained by Entropy are used where the criterion weights are determined, Enerjisa Enerji A.Ş. was the company with the highest performance; it is found that the company with the lowest performance is PAMEL Renewable Electricity Generation Inc.
