Abstract

Identification of species of wild animals and their introduction of home range areas constitute the first stage of wildlife management. The aim of the current study was to determine the cloven hoofed Artiodactyla mammals, and temporal and spatial distribution of their in Bolu province. The species were identified in a total of 94 sampling points, including 14 points in 2013, 2 points in 2015 and 77 points in 2016. The observation was used by wildlife camera traps and direct or indirect tracks methods in the sampling areas. We obtained the results for three species Wild boar, roe deer and red deer from Artiodactyla order with the direct or indirect observation methods in 59 sampling points. A total of 149 specimens were counted by wildlife camera traps in 32 sampling areas. The most common species is wild boar. The species are defined generally in coniferous forest areas. Bolu ili çift toynaklı Artiodactyla:Mammalia memeli türleri

Abstract

Yaban hayvanlarının türlerinin belirlenmesi ve yayılış alanlarının ortaya konulması yaban hayatı yönetiminin ilk aşamasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma Bolu ilindeki çift toynaklı Artiodactyla memeli türlerinin belirlenmesi zamansal ve mekansal bilgilerinin ortaya konulması için yapılmıştır. Bolu ili genelinde 2013 yılında 14, 2015 yılında 2 ve 2016 yıllarında 78 nokta olmak üzere toplam 94 noktada çift toynaklı memeli türü belirlenmiştir. Örnekleme yapılan noktalarda doğrudan, dolaylı iz, dışkı, yiyinti vb. ve fotokapanlarla gözlem yapılmıştır. Çift toynaklı takımından 3 türe ait Yaban domuzu, karaca ve kızıl geyik doğrudan ve dolaylı gözlemlerle 59 noktada bulgular elde edilmiştir. Fotokapanlarla 32 noktada toplam 149 birey sayılmıştır. En yaygın ve sık görülen tür yaban domuzudur. Çift toynaklı türler daha çok ibreli orman alanlarında tespit edilmiştir. Sürdürülebilir yönetim için türlerin yaşam alanlarının ortaya konması ve periyodik olarak izlenmesi faydalı olacaktır
