Morphology and anatomy of stems-leaves Heptaptera Apiaceae species growing in Türkiye

Abstract

Heptaptera Marg. & Reuter genus belongs to Apiaceae family and is represented by four species in Turkey. H. cilicica Boiss. & Honey Tutin endemic , H. anisoptera D.C. Tutin, H. anatolica Boiss. Tutin and H. triquetra Vent. . In this study, morphological and anatomical characteristics of the leaves and stem of these four Heptaptera species growing naturally in Turkey are examied for the first time. As a result of our study, morphological characteristic and anatomical structures of organs such as stems and leaves of the species were revealed and were supported by drawings and photographs. Due to additional information obtained during our study, we recommend that these information should be taken into consideration in the rewriting of the genus Heptaptera in the Flora of Turkey
