Contributions to the flora between Amasra and İnkum Bartın/Turkey located in Western Black Sea Region

Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the flora that is an important part of the studies implemented for the identification and mapping of the biotopes as a basis of the landscape planning studies. 3336 herbarium samples were collected between the years of 2006 and 2009 from 156 survey areas. 521 natural taxa were identified in these studies. 136 of them belong to European-Siberian, 69 of them belong to Mediterranean and 6 of them belong to Iran-Turan phytogeographic regions. 13 endemic species, 44 species including 7 endangered species according to IUCN Red List, 12 taxa which are not included in the Red List but that are still rare species along with 28 geophytes stated in Ekim et al. 2000 are the taxa require priority in-situ conservation. 109 new taxa were identified in the study area for the first time
