The flora of Zilan valley Erciş-Van/Turkey

Abstract

This research covers the flora of Zilan Valley Erciş-Van . As result of the field survey carried out between 2005 and 2008, 4300 plant specimens have been collected. In the area, 1156 taxa belonging to 83 families, and 385 genera were determined. Draba orientalis O. Karabacak & L. Behçet was collected from the study area and introduced to science as a new species. Out of these taxa, 28 of them are new for the B9 grid square. A total of 92 7.95 % endemic species have been determined from the area. The distribution of the endemic and rare taxa according to the red data is as follows: 1 taxa in critically “CR”, 3 taxa in endangered “EN”, 36 taxa in vulnerable “VU”, 16 taxa in near threatened “NT”, 63 taxa in least concern “LC” and 1 taxa Tanacetum flavovirens Boiss. Tzvelev subsp. tamrutense Sosn. Takth. in data deficient “DD”. The largest families are Asteraceae 200 , Fabaceae 112 ve Poaceae 91 . The largest genera are Astragalus 43 , Silene 22 and Centaurea 21 . The research area is located in Irano-Turanian phytogeographic regions. The phytogeographic distribution of the recorded species from the area is as follows: Irano – Turanian 421, Euro – Siberian 83 and Mediterranean 28

Zilan vadisi Erciş-Van florası

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile Zilan Vadisi’nin Erciş-Van Florası araştırıldı. 2005-2008 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın arazi çalışmaları sonucunda 4300 bitki örneği toplandı. Araştırma bölgesinde 83 familyaya ait 385 cins ve 1156 tür ve türaltı takson tespit edildi. Draba orientalis O. Karabacak & L. Behçet çalışma alanımızdan toplanıp bilim dünyasına yeni tür olarak tanıtılmıştır. Belirlenen taksonlardan 28 tanesi B9 karesi için yeni kayıttır. Alandan toplam 92 % 7.95 endemik takson belirlenmiştir. Endemik ve nadir toplam 120 taksonun tehlike kategorilerine dağılımları ise şöyledir: 1 takson kritik “CR”, 3 takson tehlikede “EN”, 36 takson zarar görebilir “VU”, 16 takson tehdit altına girebilir “NT”, 63 takson az endişe verici “LC” ve 1 takson Tanacetum flavovirens Boiss. Tzvelev subsp. tamrutense Sosn. Takth. veri yetersiz “DD” şeklindedir. En büyük üç familya; Asteraceae 200 , Fabaceae 112 ve Poaceae 91 ’dir. En büyük cinsler; Astragalus 43 , Silene 22 ve Centaurea 21 ’dır. İran-Turan fitocoğrafik bölgesinde yer alan çalışma alanında tespit edilen taksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımı şöyledir; İran-Turan elementi 421, Avrupa-Sibirya elementi 83, Akdeniz elementi 28’dir
