The vascular flora of Katırlı mountain Bursa/Turkey

Abstract

This study which was carried out between 2003 and 2005 years, consist of the vascular flora of Katırlı Mountain Bursa, Turkey . At the end of this study, 634 plant taxa belonging to 88 families and 331 genera were determined. The largest five families are Asteraceae 127 taxa , Fabaceae 105 taxa , Poaceae 37 taxa , Lamiaceae 30 taxa and Brassicaceae 21 taxa . The largest genera are Trifolium 29 taxa , Vicia 19 taxa , Anthemis 14 taxa , Medicago 11 taxa and Lathyrus 10 taxa . The distribution of the taxa according to the phytogeographical regions and their rates are follows; Mediterranean elements 130 20.5 % , Euro-Siberian elements 109 17.2 % , Irano-Turanian Elements 8 1.3 % and multiregional or unknown originated 387 61 % . 33 endemic taxa 5.2 % were determinated in the study area. Moreover, during this study, a new species of Verbascum L. V. yurtkuranianum Kaynak, Daşkın & Yılmaz was identified and introduced to the world science

Katırlı dağı Bursa/Türkiye ’nın vasküler florası

Abstract

2003-2005 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma, Katırlı Dağı Bursa ’nın florasını içermektedir. Çalışma alanı Türkiye Florasındaki kareleme sistemine göre A2 A karesinde yer almaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda, 88 familya ve 331 cinse ait 634 takson saptanmıştır. En büyük 5 familya Asteraceae 127 takson , Fabaceae 105 takson , Poaceae 37 takson , Lamiaceae 30 takson ve Brassicaceae 21 takson ’dir. En büyük cinsler ise Trifolium 29 takson , Vicia 19 takson , Anthemis 14 takson , Medicago 11 takson ve Lathyrus 10 takson ’tur. Taksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımı ve oranları şöyledir; Akdeniz elementleri 130 % 20.5 , Avrupa-Sibirya elementleri 109 % 17.2 , İran-Turan elementleri 8 % 1.3 ve çok bölgeli veya fitocoğrafik bölgesi bilinmeyenler 387 % 61 . Çalışma alanında 33 endemik % 5.2 takson saptanmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışma sırasında yeni bir Verbascum L. türü V. yurtkuranianum Kaynak, Daşkın & Yılmaz tanımlanmış ve bilim dünyasına tanıtılmıştır
