Evaluation of germinabilities of different shrubs by some methods

Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to determine the effect of cold stratification, GA and H2SO4 scarification on seed germination and to assign effective method for overcoming dormancy in some shrub species. Three treatments, made were cold stratification, GA3 and H2SO4 scarification treatments. Cold stratification is efficient method to enhance germination rate. Species having similar germination rate and location in same group could be assessed in breeding programs, agronomical physiological studies / applications
