Effects of electromagnetic field stress on some anatomical parameters of fig Ficus carica L. leaves

Year 2009, Volume: 2 Issue: 3, 107 - 111, 15.12.2009

Abstract

In this study, the effects of elektromagnetic field stress caused by base stations on the leaf anatomies of fig trees were investigated. Electromagnetic field stress increased the cuticle thickness, epidermis cell number, stomata number, stomata index, stomata width and distance between vascular bundles while it decreased the epidermis cell length, stomata length, trachea diameter, leaf diameter, vascular bundle width and length. On the other hand, the mentioned stress increased the epidermis cell width in the leaf upper surface while it showed the same values as the control in the leaf lower surface

İncir Ficus carica yapraklarının bazı anatomik parametreleri üzerine elektromanyetik alan stresinin etkileri

Year 2009, Volume: 2 Issue: 3, 107 - 111, 15.12.2009

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, incir ağaçlarının yaprak anatomileri üzerine baz istasyonlarının sebep olduğu elektromanyetik alan stresinin etkileri araştırılmıştır. Elektromanyetik alan stresi kutikula kalınlığı, epidermis hücre sayısı, stoma sayısı, stoma indeksi, stoma eni ve iletim demetleri arası mesafeyi artırırken, epidermis hücre boyu, stoma boyu, trake çapı, yaprak çapı, iletim demeti eni ve boyunu azaltmıştır. Diğer yandan, söz konusu stres epidermis hücre enini yaprak üst yüzeyinde artırırken, yaprak alt yüzeyinde kontrol grubu ile aynı değerleri göstermiştir
