Assessment to the relationships between vegetation and site properties accordance with similarity values between quadrat pairs

Abstract

It can not be possible to investigate relationships between vegetation and site species by using statical analysis with datum belonging to only a few of quadrats However, It can be possible to incease datum number and perform statistical analysis by means of similarity values between quadrat pairs. In this study, It was purposed to evaluate to relationships between vegetation and site properties accordance with similarity values between quatrat pairs. Data was collected from 9 quadrats between Belceğiz and Eşek field and, 8 quatrats between Üçtepeler and Aliefendi plateaus for this study. It was used correlation analysis to determinate relationships between vegetation and altitude in Belceğiz-Eşek field site. It was also used t-test to determinate relationships between vegetation and aspect in Üçtepeler-Aliefendi plateaus site. It was found that altitude in Belceğiz-Eşek field site and aspect in Üçtepeler-Aliefendi plateaus site are statistically significant. The results was showed that altitude in belceğiz-Eşek field site and aspect in ÜçtepelerAliefendi plateaus site must be taken into consideration factors for forest site classification and mapping.

Bitki örtüsü ile yetişme ortamı özellikleri arasındaki ilişkilerin örnek alan benzerlik değerlerine göre değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Bitki örtüsü ile yetişme ortamı özellikleri arasındaki ilişkilerin araştırılmasında örnek alan sayısının az olması durumunda istatistiksel yöntemlerin kullanılması mümkün olmayabilir. Ancak, örnek alan çiftleri arasındaki benzerlik değerleri sayesinde veri sayısı arttırılabilir ve istatistiksel analiz yapılabilir. Bu çalışmada, bitki örtüsü ile yetişme ortamı arasındaki ilişkilerin örnek alan çiftleri arasındaki benzerlik değerlerine göre istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Belceğiz-Eşek alanı arasındaki 9 örnek alandan, Üçtepeler-Aliefendi yaylası arasındaki 8 örnek alandan alınmıştır. Belceğiz-Eşek alanı mevkisinde bitki örtüsü-yükselti ilişkisi korelasyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. ÜçtepelerAliefendi yaylası mevkisinde ise, bitki örtüsü-bakı ilişkisi t testi ile incelenmiştir. Bitki örtüsünün değişiminde istatistiksel olarak Belceğiz-Eşek alanı mevkisinde yükseltinin, Üçtepeler-Aliefendi yaylası mevkisinde bakının önemli etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar, Belceğiz-Eşek alanı mevkisinde yükseltinin, Üçtepeler-Aliefendi yaylası mevkisinde bakının orman yetişme ortamı sınıflandırılması ve haritalanmasında dikkate alınması gereken yetişme ortamı faktörleri olduğunu göstermektedir
