Abstract
Legends testify to the cycle of the universe, the thoughts of the eras, as well as its literary taste as a narrative genre. They establish connections between the past and the future as stories that guide folk culture. The retelling of each legend means that it rebuilds its mindset and keeps it alive. Legends do not need a specific pattern regarding their external structure. In addition to the legend being known as a term, it goes hand in hand with both positive and negative meanings in daily language. Studies on how the changing context of the legend follows is needed. It is necessary to follow the differences and similarities in terms of structure, content, performance and functions while following the legend, which is a species that can be changed, and draw conclusions. In the research of the legends, their classifications, functions, motifs and performance environments are discussed. Confidence-based narratives continue in the environment. It continues its existence through its ties with daily life. The legends of the past have tight textures with origin myths, oral history, remarkable mysteries. So much so that oral history and legendary history get mixed up from time to time. While today's legends are carried from the sacred period to the post-Islam period, thought structures continue from myth to the religious and scientific field. The antichrist does not only establish a fantastic link between the past and the present. It also reflects the fears and belief fabric of modern man. New fictions are created by taking inspiration from it. Etiology legends are a guide to origins outside of religion. Historical legends complete socio-cultural history. An admonition between reward and punishment is made most effectively. It is necessary to approach mystical legends cautiously and pedagogically. Legends are also capable of responding to the needs of modern humans in the future. In the need to believe, legends always find a place for themselves. Virtual heroes produced by the cultural sector take their place in a legendary world. The media sector will continue to play with the human mind, and they will try to mark believable works with new virtual legends. Origin myths are extracted into contemporary tools as new mythical types. Inaccessible people will be the artists, athletes and scientists of the period. The legendary knowledge of the
polytheistic periods will find a new shape in the hands of the glorified people. Consumer culture, culture industries, popular culture will find customers with projects. Like Barbie dolls, they will generate new legends in new virtual worlds. A consumer sector will want to control the world market, especially children and young people, through magical games and visuals. They will produce virtual and legendary heroes in all areas of the entertainment industry from movies, TV series, games and toys. The self-legend of the person based on taste will turn beliefs into passion. Those who cannot renew their own cultures in the visuals of the new world will have to follow the footsteps of those who renew.
