Onion smudge in Turkey

Abstract

Purpose of t his article is to inform plant pathologists concerned that the disease first time is observed in Ankara - Turkey and on white onions by the writer. Symptoms of the disease was confined to the scales of the bulb as it was previously described in other countries by the different authors. It is of minor importance in Turkey to be taken into consideration from the control standpoint.
