The Plant Protection Bulletin, published by the Plant Protection Central Research Institute, is a comprehensive resource in the field. It features original research articles in English, covering a wide spectrum of topics in plant protection and plant health. The bulletin includes biological, ecological, physiological, epidemiological, and taxonomic studies on diseases, pests, and weeds causing damage to plants and plant products, their natural enemies, and research on control methods. It also encompasses studies on the residues, toxicology, and formulations of agricultural pesticides, as well as agricultural control equipment and machinery, providing a holistic view of the field.
The Plant Protection Bulletin, which employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process, is committed to providing accessible knowledge. It does not publish single-year biological studies, short research reports, first records, and notes to the editor. However, two invited review articles may be published annually. The journal is published electronically in open access through the TÜBİTAK DergiPark Platform, ensuring that its valuable content is readily available to all. It is also abstracted and indexed by EBSCOhost, CAB Abstracts, Clarivate Analytics-Zoological Record, TR-Dizin, and Scopus, further enhancing its reach and impact.
