Abstract

Natural enemies of beet armyworm [Spodoptera exigua (Hübn.)(Lep.: Noctuidae)] were determined in Diyarbakır province in 1993. The population dynamics were also observed during the studies. Geocoris pallidipennis (C.), Nabis pseudoferus Rem., N.rugosus L., Chrysoperla carnea (Steph.), Coccinella septempunctata L. were found as a predatory insects; Temelucha decorata (Grav.) and Barylypa pallida (Grav.) were found as a parasitoids on S.exigua.

Abstract

Diyarbakır (Bismil) ilinde 1993 yılında yürütülen bu çalışma ile Pamuk çizgili yaprakkurdu [Spodoptera exigua (Hübn.) (Lep.:Noctuidae)]'nun doğal düşmanları belirlenmiş ve popülasyon yoğunlukları gözlenmiştir.S.exigua'nın predatörü olarak Geocoris pallidipennis (C.), Nabis pseudoferus Rem., N.rugosus L., Chrysoperla carnea (Steph.), Coccinella septempunctata L.; parazitoiti olarak Temelucha decorata (Grav.) ve Barylypa pallida (Grav.) türleri saptanmıştır. Larva parazitoitlerinin yaklaşık %8 oranında etkili oldukları gözlenmiştir.
