A new record for the fauna of Turkey <em>Phalacrotophora fasciata</em> Fallen (Dip.: Phoridae).

Abstract

Adults of Phalacrotophora fasciata Fallen, a dipteran parasitoid, emerged from a pupa of Synharmonia conglobata Linnaeaus collected in experimental fields of Agricultural Faculty of Ankara University on July 2005 and from an unidentified Coccinellidae pupa in a Coccinelidae group collected from parks, gardens and road plantation between May and June 2003 in Ankara. P. fasciata is a new record for Turkish fauna. Furthermore, S. conglobata is a new host for this parasitoid for world.

Abstract

Ankara'da 2003 yılı mayıs-temmuz aylarında park, bahçe ve yol bitkilerinden toplanan çok sayıdaki Coccinellidae pupası içerisindeki teşhisi yapılamayan tek bir pupadan ve 2005 temmuz ayında Ankara Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi bahçesinden toplanan Synharmonia conglobata Linnaeaus pupasından Phalacrotophora fasciata Fallen erginleri çıkış yapmıştır. P. fasciata Türkiye böcek faunası için yeni bir kayıttır. Ayrıca konukçu S. conglobata bu parazitoit için dünyada yeni kayıttır.
