Bazı bitki ekstraktlarının <em>Callosobruchus maculatus </em>(F.) (Col.: Bruchidae)&rsquo;e olan kontak toksisiteleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, sarı kantaron (Hypericum perforatum L.), kimyon (Cuminum cyminum L.), anason (Pimpinella anisum L.) ve kekik (Origanum onites L.) bitkilerinden elde edilen methanol ekstraktlarının Callosobruchus maculatus (F.) (Col.: Bruchidae) erginlerinde kontak toksisiteleri araştırılmıştır. Denemeler laboratuar şartlarında 30˚C sıcaklık, %55±5 orantılı nem ve karanlık ortamda yürütülmüştür. Kontak toksisite testlerinde C. maculatus erginlerine %1, 2, 4, 8 ve 16’lık (w/w) ekstrakt dozları uygulanmıştır. %98,21 lik en yüksek ölüm oranı 48 saatlik uygulama süresinde kimyon ekstraktının %16’lık dozunda belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca 3 uygulama süresinin her birinde bitki ekstraktı için LC50 ve LC90 değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Ölüm oranları bitki ekstraktlarına göre farklılık göstermiştir.

Contact toxicities of plant extracts to<em> Callosobruchus maculatus </em>(F.) (Col.: Bruchidae)

Abstract

In this study, contact toxicity of methanol extracts from tipton’s weed (Hypericum perforatum L.), cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.), anise (Pimpinella anisum L.), thyme (Origanum onites L.), were tested against Callosobruchus maculatus (F.) (Col.: Bruchidae). The experiments were conducted in laboratory conditions of 30˚C, 55±5% RH and continuous dark. In the contact toxicity tests, the doses applied to a day old adult of Callosobruchus maculatus F. were 1-2-4-8-16% (w/w). The highest mortality of Callosobruchus maculatus F. were 98,21% application dose of 16% of cumin in 48 hours. Furthermore to kill 50 and 90% of the populations, needed doses (LC50 and LC90 values) were estimated for every applied plant extract and time. The mortality rates were varied depending on the plant extract.
