Determination of harmful insect and acari species and their natural enemies in quince orchards in Marmara Region and population fluctuations of important harmful species

Abstract

It was determined pest and useful acari and insect species, damage ratios and population fluctuation in quince orchards established with Eşme variety in Bursa, Sakarya and Yalova provinces of Marmara region during 2009-2011. In Study were determined 30 insect pest genus and species belonging to 19 families from 4 order and 4 harmful species belonging to 3 families from Acarina order.The most important species relating to insect pests were determined from Tortricidae and Pyralidae families belonging to Lepidoptera order. Oriental fruitmoth (Cydia molesta Busck.), Codling moth (Cydia pomonella L.) Apple leafroller (Archips rosanus L) from Tortricidae family and Quince moth (Euzophera bigella Zell.) from Pyralidae family were determined as important pest. The European redmite [Panonychus ulmi (Koch) (Acari: Tetranychidae)] and The Flat scarletmite [Cenopalpus pulcher Can. and Fan. (Acari: Tenuipalpidae)] from harmful acari species were determined as intensive and extensive. As for beneficial insects and acari, 13 species belonging to family Coccinellidae from Coleoptera order, three species from Phytoseidae family, Tromboculidae family individuals and a neutral species were determined. In study, the damage ratio done by Oriental fruit moth, Quince moth and Codling moth in neglected quince orchards and control measures were not taken regularly were 100%

Marmara Bölgesi Ayva Bahçelerinde Zararlı Böcek ve Akar Türleri ile Doğal Düşmanlarının Saptanması ve Önemli Zararlı Türlerin Popülasyon Değişimi

Abstract

Marmara Bölgesi illerinde Bursa, Sakarya ve Yalova’da çoğunlukla eşme çeşidi ile kurulan ayva bahçelerinde 2009–2011 yıllarında bulunan zararlı akar ve böcek ile faydalı doğal düşman türleri, zarar oranları ve popülasyon değişimleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, 4 takım ve 19 familyaya bağlı 30 zararlı böcek cins ve türü, Acarina takımından 3 familyadan 4 zararlı tür saptanmıştır. Zararlı böceklerden en önemli türler Tortricidae ve Pyralidae (Lepidoptera) familyalarından tespit edilmiştir. Tortricidae familyasından Doğu meyvegüvesi (Cydia molesta Busck.), Elma içkurdu [Cydia pomonella L. ve Elma yaprakbükeni (Archips rosanus L.) ve Pyralidae familyasından ise Ayva içkurdu (Euzophera bigella Zell.) önemli zararlı türler olarak saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, zararlı akar türlerinden Tetranychidae familyasında Akdiken akarı (Amphitetranychus viennensis), Avrupa kırmızıörümceği [Panonychus ulmi (Koch)] yoğun ve yaygın olarak belirlenmiştir. Doğal düşmanlardan Coleoptera takımı Coccinellidae familyasından 13 tür, acarina takımı Phytoseidae familyasından 3 tür ve Tromboculid spp. ile bir nötr tür saptanmıştır. Çalışmada; bakımsız ve mücadelesi düzenli yapılmayan ayva bahçelerinde Doğu meyvegüvesi, Ayva içkurdu ve Elma içkurdu zararı % 100 olmuştur. Bu zararlılar ayvada ana zararlılar olarak belirlenmiştir.
