Abstract

In Mediterranean Region, 104 varieties and lines concerning 75 soft wheats (Triticum aestivum) and 29 durum wheats (T.durum) tested against some regional Tilletia foetida and T.caries races which had been determined having high virulence effecting several Bt resistance genes during 1988-1991. No resistancy was found in 70 varieties tested while various resistance Bt genes were determined in 34 varieties. Sources of these resistance came from 29 soft and 5 durum wheat varieties. It was found that the varieties of wheat Yayla 305, Kıraç 66 were resistant to 8 races and Alter 84 resistant to 7 races and Fulamura 80, KKk/Itdl/Lov 29 resistant to 6 races of  T.foetida and T.caries.

Abstract

Akdeniz Bölgesinde, 1988-1991 yılları arasında, Türkiye'de daha önceden belirlenmiş sürme ırklarından 10 Bt dayanıklılık genini etkileyebilen virülensi yüksek ırklar ile yöresel bazı ırklara karşı yapılan dayanıklılık testlerinde 75 ekmeklik (Triticum aestivum) ve 29 makarnalık (T.durum) olmak üzere 104 buğday çeşit ve hattı testlenmiştir. Bunlardan 70 çeşitte kullanılan ırklara karşı herhangi bir dayanıklılık olmadığı, 34 çeşitte ise değişik sayıda Bt dayanıklılık genleri bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu dayanıklılık kaynaklarının 29'u ekmeklik, 5'i ise makarnalık çeşitlerdir. Yayla 305, Kıraç 66 çeşitleri kullanılan 8 ırka, Altar 84 çeşidi 7 ırka, Lancer, Fulamura 80 ve KKk/Itdl/lov 29 çeşit ve hat'tı ise 6 ırka karşı dayanıklı bulunmuştur.
