Studies on the effect of <em>Trichoderma harzianum </em>against important root and crown rot pathogens of wheat

Abstract

Inhibitions and effects of Trichoderma harzianum isolates against root and crown rot pathogens of wheat (Fusarium  culmorum, Fusarium pseudograminearum, Bipolaris sorokiniana and Rhizoctonia solani) were investigated with dual culture and in sterile and natural soil conditions in 2006. Dual culture tests showed that T10 inhibited mycelial growth of F. culmorum 82.6%, T7 inhibited mycelial growth of F. pseudograminearum and B. sorokiniana 72.2% and 76.4%, respectively. T1 inhibited mycelial growth of R. solani  67.8%. Wheat seeds (Kınacı 97) was coated with T. harzianum conidia. In sterile soil T10 showed 65.6% effect against F. culmorum, T4 51.9% against F. pseudograminearum, T6 63.5% against B. sorokiniana and T5 73% against R. solani . In natural soil conditions T3 showed 23.3% effect against F. culmorum, T6 15.8% against F. pseudograminearum, T6 60.4% against B. sorokiniana and T10 26.8% against R. solani.

Buğdayda önemli kök ve kök boğazı hastalık etmenlerine karşı Trichoderma harzianum’un etkinliğinin araştırılması

Abstract

Buğday kök ve kök boğazı patojenleri (Fusarium culmorum, Fusarium pseudograminearum, Bipolaris sorokiniana ve Rhizoctonia solani)'ne karşı Trichoderma harzianum izolatlarının engelleme ve etkileri, steril ve doğal toprak koşullarında 2006 yılında araştırılmıştır. Engelleme denemesinde F. culmorum'a karşı T10 izolatı %82.6, F. pseudograminearum'a T7 %72.2, B. sorokiniana'ya T7 %76.4, R. solani'ye T1 %67.8 engelleme göstermiştir. T. harzianum izolatları Kınacı 97 çeşidi buğday tohumuna kaplama şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Steril toprakta F. culmorum'a karşı T10 %65.6, F. pseudograminearum'a T4 %51.9, B. sorokiniana'ya T6 %63.5, R. solani'ye T5 %73 etki göstermiş olup, doğal toprakta F. culmorum'a karşı T3 %23.3, F. pseudograminearum'a T6 %15.8, B. sorokiniana'ya T6 %60.4 ve R. solani'ye T10 %26.8 etki göstermiştir.
