Abstract
The study was carried out in order to determine Coccoidea species in some parks of Istanbul between 2005-2007. As a result of the study, 42 species of 7 families as Diaspididae (19), Coccidae (13), Pseudococcidae (3), Eriococcidae (2), Margaroridae (2), Asterolecaniidae (2) and Kermesidae were found. The host plants of the species in Istanbul urbans were given in this article. According to the literature, the host plants, distributions and biology of the species in the world and Turkey also were given. Some coccoids were abundant such as Aonidia lauri, Aspidiotus nerii, Unaspis euonymi, Leucaspis pusilla, Ceroplastes japonicus, Parthenolecanium pomeranicum, Pulvinaria floccifera and Lictensia viburni were abundant in unsprayed areas of parks and gardens.

İstanbul'un bazı önemli parklarında bulunan Coccoidea türlerinin tespiti amacıyla 2005-2007 yılları arasında yapılan bu çalışmada Diaspididae (19), Coccidae (13), Pseudococcidae (3), Eriococcidae (2), Margarodidae (2), Asterolecaniidae (2) ve Kermesidae (1) olmak üzere 7 familyadan toplam 42 tür belirlenmiştir. Bu türlerin İstanbul yeşil alanlarında bulunan konukçuları, ayrıca literatüre dayanarak dünyadaki ve Türkiye'deki konukçuları, yayılışları ve biyolojileri ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Bazı koruluklar ve parklarda ilaçlanmayan alanlarda bazı türlerin yoğun olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar, Aonidia lauri, Aspidiotus nerii, Unaspis euonymi, Leucaspis pusilla, Ceroplastes japonicus, Parthenolecanium pomeranicum, Pulvinaria floccifera ve Lictensia viburni'dir.
