Abstract
Günümüzde süt hayvancılığı tarım sektörünün önemli bir parçasını oluşturmaktadır. Süt hayvancılığı birçok gelişmekte olan ülkelerde hem ulusal ekonominin büyümesinde hem de yoksulluğun azaltılmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türkmenistan’ın süt hayvancılık sektörünün mevcut durumu ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı Türkmenistan’da mevcut süt üretimi, tüketimi ve pazarlama durumunu değerlendirmektir. Ayrıca Türkmenistan’ın süt sektörünün mevcut durumu SWOT analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada süt sektörünün güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ortaya konulmuştur.

Abstract
Today, dairy farming is an important part of the agricultural sector. Dairy farming plays an important role in the growth of the national economy and poverty reduction in many developing countries. In this study examined the current situation of dairy farming sector of Turkmenistan. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the situation of milk production, consumption and marketing in Turkmenistan.
