Sıçanlarda Ihlamur (Tilia platyphyllos Scop) İnfüzyonunun İmmün Sistem Üzerine Etkilerinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Çay olarak tüketilen en yaygın bitkilerden biri
olan ıhlamur
(Tilia platyphyllos Scop) bitkisi çiçeği
özellikle soğuk kış aylarında yoğun şekilde tüketilmektedir. Halk arasında
soğuk algınlığına iyi geldiği, güçlü bir sakinleştirici etkiye sahip olduğu,
iltihaplanmayı azalttığı, tansiyonun düşürülmesine destek olduğu, bağışıklık
sisteminin güçlendirdiği ve detoks özelliği bulunduğu kabul edilmektedir. Fakat
ıhlamur çayının
kullanım süresi, sıklığı ve
dozuna bağlı
canlı üzerinde
nasıl bir etkiye sahip olduğu yönünde yapılan literatür araştırmalarında
yeterli bir bilgiye rastlanılamamıştır. Bu çalışmada, ıhlamur çiçeği (LF)
infüzyonunun etanolün (EtOH) immünotoksik etkilerine karşı iyileştirici
etkilerini ortaya koymak için: sıçanlarda immün sistemin biyobelirteçlerden
adenozin deaminaz (ADA) ve miyeloperoksidaz (MPO) aktivitelerinin üzerine olası
etkilerinin ölçülmesi amaçlandı. Deneysel çalışmada kullanılan sıçanlar her
grupta 6 adet olacak şekilde dört deney grubuna ayrıldı: Kontrol, %20 EtOH), %2
LF infüzyonu ve %20 EtOH + % 2
LF karışımı günlük taze olarak hazırlanan infüzyon sıçanlara 50 gün
süreyle içme suyu olarak verildi. Sonuç olarak analiz dokularında MPO
aktivitesinin kontrol gruplarına göre önemli ölçüde arttığı, ADA aktivitesinde
ise dalgalanmalar olduğu görüldü.
