Yüksek Teknolojili Ürün İhracatı Ekonomik Büyüme İçin Bir Avantaj Sağlar Mı? Gelişmiş Ülkeler Üzerinden Ampirik Kanıtlar

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 82 - 94, 15.08.2022

Abstract

Does Export of High-Tech Products Provide Advantage for Economic Growth? Empirical Evidence from Developed Countries

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 82 - 94, 15.08.2022

Abstract

Nowadays, the increasing competition in foreign trade has led countries to increase product diversity and increase efficiency and productivity with high-tech production. Nowadays, it has become the priority of countries to increase foreign trade volume and earn more foreign currency per unit product with high value-added, technology-oriented products and their exports. At this point, studies on the effects of exports of high-tech products on economic growth attract increasing attention. In this study, the relationship between the export of high-tech products and economic growth in developed countries was tested. In the analysis made with the 2007-2019 data of 28 developed countries, it has been concluded that the export of high-tech products in developed countries has a positive effect on economic growth.
