Abstract
Eğerci köyü ferromanganez cevherleşmesi, Yerköy (Yozgat) ilçesinin 16 km güney batısında bazalt kireçtaşı dokanağı ile kireçtaşının içerisinde bantlı yer yer ise ağsal yapıda gözlenmektedir. Cevher parajenezi; pirolusit, ramsdellit, götit ve manyetittir. Gang mineralleri ise çoğunlukla kalsit daha az oranda ise kuvarstır.
Çalışma alanında farklı pirolusit oluşumları gözlenmiştir. Bazıları ince kristalli bazıları ise daha iri kristalli ve yapraklanma şeklindedir. Bir başka doku şekli ise kırık ve çatlakları doldurur şekilde ornatım ürünü olarak gelişmiş pirolusitlerdir. Yer yer ramsdellitin ramplasmanı ile oluşmuş pirolusitler ile pirolusitin götiti ornattığı dokular da belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında bazı götitlerde oolitik ve kolloidal dokular gözlenmektedir. Yapılan saha çalışmaları ve tüm bu ilk bulgular ışığında cevherleşmenin en az iki evrede oluştuğu düşünülebilir.
