ANTON ARENSKİ, ALEKSANDR GLAZUNOV, SERGEY RAHMANİNOV VE SERGEY TANEYEV ORTAK YAPITI: DÖRT EMPROVİZASYON ADLI PİYANO ESERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZ: Bu incelemede Anton Arenski, Aleksandr Glazunov, Sergey Rahmaninov ve Sergey Taneyev’in bir araya gelerek oluşturduğu "Dört Emprovizasyon" adlı kısa parçalardan oluşan piyano setinin nota ile yazılı bulunan materyali ele alınmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan, betimleme ve içerik analizi seçilerek, materyal üzerinde görülen, işaretler ve terimler, müzikal ölçü bazında incelenerek metne aktarılmıştır. Ortak yapıt oluşturmada elverişli olduğu düşünülen özellikler ve müzik cümleleri, “inceleme ve bulgular” kısmında olan işaretli biçimdeki şekillerde verilmiş, “tartışma ve sonuç” kısmında bu şekiller, ortak yapıt yazımında önemli olabilecek konular olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Bestecilerin isimleri, materyal içerisindeki bazı müzikal ölçüler üzerinde belirtilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımla, birbirlerinin müzikal cümle veya işaret kullanımlarını paylaştıkları; aynı zamanda, bağımsız olarak kendi özgün cümlelerini de oluşturdukları görülmektedir. Besteciler, aynı cümleyi paylaşırken müzikal eklemelerde bulunmuş; materyal üzerinde kullanılan önceki terimleri ise kendi tercihlerine göre değiştirmişlerdir. Cümlelerin geçişleri, bazı durumlarda bir sonraki bestecinin bağlam içerisinde kalması için kolaylık sağlamış; bazı durumlarda ise müzikal yapıyı korumak adına düzenlemede bulunmaya zorlamıştır. İnceleme sonucunda ortaya çıkan veriler, Dört Emprovizasyon adlı piyano eserinin bestecileri tarafından ustalıkla ele alınmış olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu verilerin, ortak bir müzikal yapıt oluşturmakta faydalı olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

COLLABORATIVE WORK OF ANTON ARENSKY, ALEXANDER GLAZUNOV, SERGEI RACHMANINOFF, AND SERGEI TANEYEV: THE EXAMINATION OF THE PIANO PIECE FOUR IMPROVISATIONS

Abstract

In this study, the notated material of the piano set of short piece called ‘Four Improvisations’ created collaboratively by Anton Arenski, Akesandr Glazunov, Sergey Rahmaninov, and Sergey Taneyev was examined. The musical signs and terms seen on the notated material were analysed on the basis of musical measures and transferred to the text by using description and content analysis, which are qualitative methods. Musical signs and terms on the material are defined in the text through musical measures. The features and musical phrases that are thought to be suitable for creating a collaborative work were given in the marked figures in the ‘analysis and findings’section. In the “discussion and conclusion” section, these figures were classified as issues that may be important in composing collaborative works. The names of the composers have been indicated on some of the musical measures on the notated material. With this approach, it is seen that composers share share each other’s use of musical phrases or signs and also create independently their own original phrases. While sharing the same phrase, the composers made musical additions and also changed the previous terms used on the notated material according to their own preferences. In some cases, the transition of the sentences made it easier for the next composer to stay within the context in other cases, they forced the composer to make adjustments to preserve the musical structure. The data obtained from the examination shows that the piano piece called Four Improvisations was composed professionally by its composers. This data is thought to be useful in creating a similar collaborative musical work.
