The increase of transnational travel has led to the emergence of travel-related infections. In this process, the concept of ”Travel Medicine Bu was discussed. It is also known that international travel is increasing day by day. This situation increases the importance of travel medicine and vaccination every day. Because of this, many people have had to get medical help because of an associated infection during their travels or immediately after travel. The aim of the study is to reveal the level of knowledge, attitude and thoughts of the community about travel medicine and vaccination. The study is a cross-sectional descriptive survey. In this study, it was aimed to reach to the whole universe without selecting the sample since all the cases that can be reached within the 3-month period between 1 January 2014 and 15 March 2014 were targeted. In the results of working; Although the rates of travel have increased with the level of education and income, it is thought that the level of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of the people on travel medicine cannot reach the level that will protect themselves and those around them.
