Abstract

ÖZET

Plasenta yapışma anomalilerinden biri olan plasenta akreata maternal mortalite ve morbiditeye

neden olan postpartum kanamaların en sık nedenlerinden birisidir. Çalışmamızda plasenta

akreata'ya bağlı abondan postpartum hemorajiyi kontrol için uterus koruyucu kare sütür uyguladığımız

bir olguyu tarif ettik. Hasta 3 yıl önce normal doğum sonrasında plasenta retansiyonu

nedenli postpartum dönemde küretaj işlemi geçirmiş. Daha sonra menstrüel kanaması olmaması

üzerine başvuran hastada endometrial sineşi tespit edilip operatif histeroskopi ile sineşi açıldı.

Yakın dönemde gerçekleşen gebeliğinde, normal spontan doğum sonrası plasenta akreata nedenli

postpartum hemoraji gerçekleşti. Kare kompresyon sütürü uygulanarak uterus koruyucu cerrahi

gerçekleştirildi.Hastanın postoperatif takibinde herhangi bir komplikasyon izlenmedi.

ABSTRACT

As one of the anomalies of placental attachment, placenta accreta is among the most common

reasons of postpartum hemorrhages leading to maternal mortality and morbidity. In the

report, we described a case where we used square sutures to protect uterus in order to control

postpartum hemorrhage due to placenta accreta. The case had had curettage induced by

placental retention after vaginal delivery within the postpartum period three years ago. Then,

the patient was admitted to our clinic with the complaint of no menstrual bleeding, endometrial

synechia was detected, and the synechia was cut open through operative hysteroscopy. In her

recent pregnancy, postpartum haemorrhage due to placental accreta occurred following normal

spontaneous delivery. So, uterus-protecting surgery was performed by using square compression

sutures. During the postoperative follow-up, no complications were observed.
