Kedilerin Tüberkülozisine Güncel Yaklaşım

Abstract
Tüberküloz tüm evcil hayvanlarda ve insanlarda başta solunum sistemi olmak üzere birçok farklı sistemlerde etkili olabilen uzun seyirli bir hastalıktır. Kedi sahipleri veya kedilerin doğal çevresinde bulunan hayvanlar kedilerde tüberküloz olgusunun oluşma sıklığını arttıran etkenlerin başında gelmektedir. Kedi mikobakteriyel enfeksiyonları tüberküloz, Kedi cüzzam sendromu (KCS) ve tüberküloz olmayan mikobakteri sendromu olarak üç şekilde ve sıklıkla görülmektedir. Zoonotik karakter taşıyabilen bu hastalıkta çoğu zaman tedavi prosedürleri hastalığın prognozu açısından olumlu sonuçlar vermek ile birlikte doğru anamnez, fiziksel, laboratuvar ve mikrobiyolojik muayene ve görüntüleme yöntemleri hastalığın erken dönem tanısında etkindir. Kedilerde klinik tanı açısından lenfadenitinis, ekstrapulmoner tutulumlar ve radyografide intersitisyel pnömoni varlığının belirlenmesi ile deri lezyon biyopsisi ve mikrobiyolojik tanı yöntemlerinin kullanılması tüberkülozun tespitinde etkilidir. Hastalığın tedavisinde ise birden fazla ilaç kullanılabilmekte ve olası ilaç etkileşiminden dolayı bazı kombinasyonlar sinerjik etki gösterirken bazıları ise antagonist etki göstermektedir. Sistemik tutulum gösteren vakalarda ise mevcut tedavi yöntemleri etkisiz olmaktadır.
