ETHICAL POLICY

We expect all authors/referees to read and understand our ethics policy before submitting/evaluating a manuscript. The main purpose of our policy is to advise authors, editors and reviewers on ethical responsibilities. The Bozok Journal of Veterinary Sciences follows the "European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity". The editorial and publication ethics processes of the studies to be published in the journal are carried out according to the "Higher Education Law No. 2547" (https://www.mevzuat.gov.tr/MevzuatMetin/1.5.2547.pdf) and "Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive" (https://www.yok.gov.tr/Sayfalar/Kurumsal/mevzuat/bilimsel-arastirma-ve-etik-yonetmeligi.aspx).


Ethical Principles;
1. The articles to be published in the journal should not have been published in any journal before. They should not be sent to more than one journal at the same time for the evaluation process.
2. It should be submitted with a file showing the similarity rates in one of the Turnitin or iThenticate Plagiarism Programmes. The similarity rate should be limited to 20%.
3. No commercial name of any material or product should be given in the article.
4. The article copyright form must be signed by all authors.
5. For clinical and experimental animal studies that require ethics committee approval, Ethics Committee approval must be obtained for studies conducted in all disciplines, this approval must be determined and documented in the article.
6. If there is a conflict of interest in the study, it should be reported in the article.
There is no publication fee or page fee in Bozok Veterinary Sciences Journal. The journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal and supports open access. Two positive reports are required for the publication of articles. The publication review process of the manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Bozok Veterinary Sciences is expected to be completed within 6 months. However, the period during which the editors or referees ask the author(s) to make arrangements and the author(s) complete the arrangements is not included in this period. No corrections can be made to a published article.
