Journal of Banking and Insurance Review  (JBIR) is founded in 2009. JBIR is a biannual online open access and peer-reviewed journal. JBIR is a specialized journal that covers banking and insurance in Turkey and around the world. Articles in Turkish and English languages are accepted.

 If it is necessary and appropriate, research and practices in the secondary scope which are gold, gold accounts, gold market, foreign exchange, foreign currency accounts, foreign exchange market, exchange rates, interest rates, share of banks, capital markets, items constituting the assets and liabilities of banks and insurance companies, balance sheet items of central banks and balance sheet items of payments also, will be evaluated.
