Sigorta İşlemlerinde Blokzincir (Blockchain) Teknolojisi Uygulamaları

Abstract

Dünya çapında önde gelen birçok sigorta şirketi blokzincir teknolojisine yatırımlar yapmaya başladılar. Özellikle Bitcoin’in finansal sektörde yarattığı değişimin diğer alanlarda faaliyet gösteren sektörlerde aynı değişimi yaratması konusunda, bu konuya ilgi gösteren araştırmacı ve bilim insanlarının dikkatini çekmiştir. Son yılların önemli teknolojik dönüşümlerinden birisi olan blokzincirinin, değiştirmekte olduğu birçok alanda olduğu gibi sigorta işkolunda da birçok işleyişi etkileyeceği ve değiştireceği tahmin edilmektedir. Bu çalışma ile sigortacılık sektöründe blokzincir ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalardan yola çıkarak, sektörde ortaya çıkan sorunlara çözüm üretebilecek, yeni uygulama ve yaklaşımları örnekler ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Blokzincir teknolojisindeki hızlı değişim nedeniyle çalışmamızda mümkün olduğu kadar en son yayınlar incelemiştir. Diğer taraftan blokzincir ile sigorta sektörüne getireceği yeni sistem mimarileri ve dağıtılmış fikir birliği algoritmaları ile blokzincir teknolojilerini destekleyen temel ilkelere genel bir bakış sunulmuştur.
