BİLSEM İLE ORTAOKULDA ÖĞRENİM GÖREN ÖĞRENCİLERİN SOSYAL GÖRÜNÜŞ KAYGILARI İLE BEDEN EĞİTİMİ DERSİNE YÖNELİK TUTUM VE SÜREKLİ KAYGI DÜZEYLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Araştırmada, BİLSEM ile çeşitli ortaokullarda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal görünüş kaygıları ile beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutum ve sürekli kaygı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Ankara ilinde BİLSEM Myaş= 11.54, SD=.96 ile çeşitli ortaokullarda Myaş= 12.17, SD=1.23 öğrenim gören 36 %48.6 kız, 38 %51.4 erkek olmak üzere, toplam 74 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Sosyal Görünüş Kaygısı Ölçeği-Ergen”, “İlköğretim Beden Eğitimi Dersi Tutum Ölçeği”, “Beden Eğitimi Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde yüzde, frekans ve aritmetik ortalama gibi betimsel istatistiklerin yanında ile Korelasyon analizi gibi çıkarımsal istatistik kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, BİLSEM öğrencilerinin beden eğitimi dersine yönelik tutumlarının yüksek, derse yönelik sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin ile sosyal görünüş kaygılarının ise düşük düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ortaokul öğrencilerinde ise derse yönelik tutumlarının çok yüksek, sürekli kaygı düzeyleri ile sosyal görünüş kaygılarının orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca BİLSEM’de öğrenim gören öğrencilerinin sosyal görünüş kaygıları arttıkça, derse yönelik sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin de arttığı tespit edilmiştir.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL APPEARANCE ANXIETY AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON AND TRAIT ANXIETY LEVELS OF BILSEM AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between social appearance anxiety and attitudes towatds physical education lesson and trait anxiety levels of BILSEM and secondary school students. The study group consisted of 74 students 36 girls %48.6 and 38 boys %51.4 that educated in BILSEM Mage= 11.54, SD=.96 and different secondary schools Mage= 12.17, SD=1.23 .“Social Appearance Anxiety Scale-Adolescent”, “Physical Education Trait Anxiety Scale“ and “Elementary Physical Education Attitude Scale” were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of data percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and correlation analysis were used. As a result of the study, it was determined that BILSEM students’ attitudes towards physical education lesson were high, trait anxiety levels and social appearance concerns were low. In secondary school students, it was found that the attitudes towards the course were very high, trait anxiety levels and social appearance anxiety were at a moderate level. In addition, as the social appearance anxiety of the students studying in BILSEM increased, the level of trait anxiety towards the lesson increased
