Üniversitelere Yönelik Bir Veri Merkezinin Enerji Planlaması

Abstract

Son yıllarda dünya genelinde e-ticaret, web sitesi işletmeciliği, çevrimiçi bankacılık/sigortacılık kolları hızla büyümektedir. Bu hızlı büyüme ile birlikte e-ticaret, sosyal medya, video, oyun gibi alanlar için altyapı ihtiyacının günden güne artması, veri merkezlerini bu sektörlerin en önemli ayağı haline getirmiştir. Veri merkezi tasarımında dikkat edilmesi gereken başlıca kriterler, altyapı, yedeklilik, esneklik, erişilebilirlik ve fiyat/performans göstergeleri olarak sayılabilir. Bu çalışmada bir veri merkezi enerji planlamasının nasıl yapılması gerektiği sunularak, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali Üniversitesi'ndeki bir veri merkezi enerji planlaması uygulaması verilmiştir.

Energy Planning of a Data Center for Universities

Abstract

In recent years, in worldwide e-commerce, website management, online banking/insurance processes are growing rapidly. The data centers play the most important role due to the increasing the infrastructure requirement from day to day for these sectors, The main criteria in the design of the data center is the infrastructure, redundancy, flexibility, accessibility, and price/performance indicators. In this paper, how to energy planning of a data center was presented and a data center's energy design application at the Bilecik Seyh Edebali University was given.
