Üniversitelere Yönelik Bir Veri Merkezinin İklimlendirme Planlaması

Abstract

Geçtiğimiz yirmi yıl boyunca veri işleme ve veri depolama sistemleri için artan talep bilgisayar teknolojisindeki eş zamanlı ilerlemelerle birlikte veri merkezlerinde de büyüyen bir hıza neden olmuştur. Dünya çapında veri merkezlerinin karbon emisyonlarındaki artış ve elektrik enerjisi ihtiyacının büyümesi ciddi bir zorluğu da getirmektedir.Verimsiz soğutma sistemleri yüzünden veri merkezlerinin toplam tüketimlerinin yaklaşık %30-50 kadarı soğutma enerji tüketimi almaktadır. Bu makale bir veri merkezinin iklimlendirme/soğutma planlamasının nasıl yapılacağı ve Bilecik Seyh Edebali Üniversitesindeki bir veri merkezinin iklimlendirme planlaması uygulaması sunulmuştur.

Air Conditioning Planning of a Data Center for Universities with CFD Analysis

Abstract

During the past two decades, the increasing demand for data processing and data storage systems with the simultaneous advances in computer technology have resulted in a growth rate in the data centers. The growing demand for electricity energy and the increasing the carbon emission of data centers worldwide bring a severe challenge. The cooling energy consumption takes up around 30–50% of the total consumption of data centers due to the ineffective cooling systems. This paper presents how to air conditioning/cooling planning of a data center and a data center's air conditioning design application at the Bilecik Seyh Edebali University.
