Abstract

Gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın temel amacı: Reactive RED
120(RR120) boyarmaddesinin silika esaslı malzeme üzerine adsorpsiyon
koşullarının incelenmesidir. Endüstriyel atık sular içerisindeki kimyasal
boyarmaddeler nedeniyle insan ve çevre sağlığını ciddi ölçüde tehdit etmektedirler.
Bu proje kapsamında doğaya deşarj edilen tekstil atık suları içerisinde bulunan
RR120 boyarmaddesinin adsorpsiyon yöntemiyle giderimi araştırılmıştır. Tekstil
RR120 boyarmaddesinin adsorpsiyonunda, optimizasyon
çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla kesikli sistemde pH, adsorban miktarı, süre
ve başlangıç boyarmadde derişiminin etkisi araştırılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına
göre en iyi sonuçlar, MCM-41 malzemesiyle elde edilmiştir.

Adsorption Conditions Investigation of Reactive RED 120 Dyes on the Silica-Based Porous Material

Year 2019, Volume: 6, 237 - 246, 30.09.2019

Abstract

The main aim of this project is the investigation of
adsorption conditions of Reactive Red 120 dye on the silica-based material.
Chemical dyes in the industrial wastewaters threaten significantly the
environment and human health. In this study, ıt was investigated that RR120 dye
in the textile wastewater removed by adsorption method and reduced to harmful
effects of discharged wastewater to the environment. These dyes used in the
textile products which have the negative impact on the habitat.

Silicate structured mesoporous materials are used to adsorption of dyes due to
its larger surface areas, narrow pore size distributions and high thermal
stability. In addition, they have industrial applications such as catalyst,
sorption etc.,.
In this context firstly, study synthesis of silica-based  materials(MCM-41, SBA-15)  were carried out by hydrothermal. Then,
calcination of materials were carried out between 500-600°C determined
according to literature. Surface charge, pore size distribution etc. physical
properties of the synthesized and calcined materials were determined by BET,
ZETA, XRD and SEM analysis methods
and  they optimization studies
were conducted by adsorption of RR120 dye. For this purpose, in the batch system, pH, amount of
adsorbent, effect of the time and start concentration of dye were investigated.
According to the analysis results, the best results were obtained by the MCM-41
material.
