Zero Waste Applicability in Domestic Solid Waste: Bursa Case

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze how effective the awareness and awareness-raising studies and trainings given by municipalities and related institutions for individuals residing in Bursa province, and the applicability of individuals' knowledge levels and zero waste project in Bursa province. In this study, the answers of 529 people who were completely voluntarily selected based on the online questionnaire prepared in the electronic environment were accepted and analyzed. The collected data were statistically analyzed with ANOVA and t-Test by means of SPSS 26 application. With this study, it can be stated that married participants have higher zero waste awareness compared to single participants in Bursa, and women participants pay more attention to environmental awareness and pollution prevention than male participants. It was determined that the participants between the ages of 26-35 have higher awareness of zero waste and environmental waste compared to other age groups.

Evsel Katı Atıkta Sıfır Atık Uygulanabilirliği: Bursa Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Bursa ilinde ikamet eden bireylere yönelik belediyeler ve ilgili kurumlar tarafından verilen bilinç ve farkındalık oluşturma çalışmalarının ve eğitimlerinin ne kadar etkili olduğunun ve bireylerin bilgi düzeylerinin ve sıfır atık projesinin Bursa ilinde uygulanabilirliğinin analiz edilmesidir. Bu çalışmada tamamen gönüllülük esasına dayanan çevrimiçi anket 529 kişi tarafından yanıtlandırılmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 26 uygulaması vasıtasıyla ANOVA ve t-testi ile istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla Bursa ilinde medeni durum parametresine göre evli katılımcıların bekar katılımcılara göre sıfır atık bilincinin daha yüksek olduğu, kadınların çevre bilinci ve kirliliğin önlenmesine erkek katılımcılardan daha çok dikkat ettikleri tespit edilmiştir. 26-35 yaş aralığındaki katılımcıların sıfır atık ve çevresel atık bilincinin diğer yaş aralıklarına göre daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.
