An Overview On Apitheraphy

Year 2019, GETAT Special Issue, 61 - 66, 30.09.2019

Abstract

According to the  Regulation of Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices; Apitherapy is defined as complementary usage of honey bee and bee products in prevention and treatment of some diseases. The main bee products are honey, beeswax, bee pollen, propolis, royal jelly, bee venom and their derivatives. Many studies on these products support their potential of health protection. Shortcomings in standardization of the products used in apitherapy are the main factors that cause difficulty in making clinical studies on apitherapy. For the expected positive effect, the products should be of good quality. The related regulation has required chemical analyzes of the products and compliance with certain rules.

Apiterapiye Genel Bakış

Year 2019, GETAT Special Issue, 61 - 66, 30.09.2019

Abstract

Apiterapi,
etkenlerdendir. Beklenilen olumlu etki için kullanılan ürünün kaliteli olması
şarttır. İlgili yönetmelik, ürünlerde kimyasal analizlerin yapılmış olması ve
belli kurallara uygunluk şartı getirmiştir.
