Abstract

Son yıllarda araştırmacılar tarafından oldukça ilgi görmekte olan kariyer kavramları bu araştırmada ele alınmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında kariyer kavramının iyimserlik ve uyumluluk boyutları incelenmektedir. Kariyer iyimserliği ve kariyer uyumluluğu konularında içerik analizi yöntemi uygulanarak, gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalara ışık tutmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, kariyer iyimserliği ve kariyer uyumluluğu konularında yayımlanmış lisansüstü tezler içerik ve yöntem biçimleri açılarından irdelenmektedir. Bu çalışmalara, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı’nın Tez Merkezi veri tabanı aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmaya konu olan çalışmalar; yabancı kaynak oranı, kelime sayıları, anahtar kelimeler, kullanılan yöntem ve metin içerisinde geçen “kariyer iyimserliği” ve “kariyer uyumluluğu” kelime miktarları kriter alınarak içerik analiz yöntemi ile incelenmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda kariyer iyimserliği ve kariye uyumluluğu kavramlarıyla ilgili yapılan araştırmaların oldukça kısıtlı olduğu belirlenmekle birlikte konuların gelecekte araştırmacılar tarafından daha çok rağbet göreceği düşünülerek sonuç bölümünde konular ile ilgili çeşitli öneriler sunulmaktadır.

Research with a Content Analysis Method of the Studies on Career Optimization and Career Adaptability

Abstract

Career concepts that have received much attention from researchers in recent years are discussed in this study. As part of the research, the optimism and career dimensions of the career concept are examined. The aim is to shed light on future studies by applying a content analysis method to career optimism and career adaptability. The research examines postgraduate work on career optimism and career adaptability in terms of method and content. The studies discussed have been achieved through the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Council. Studies achieved; The method used has been analyzed with the content analysis method by using the criteria keywords, external resource rate, word numbers, and the words "career optimism" and "career adaptability" in the text. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the researches on the concepts of career optimism and career adaptability are very limited, and in the conclusion section, various suggestions are presented in the conclusion part, considering that the topics will be more popular by the researchers in the future
