İzmir Bakırçay University Faculty of Law Review aims to share and make accessible high-quality and original scholarly works in the fields of private and public law. In this way, the Journal seeks to contribute to the publication of proposals for solutions to traditional and contemporary challenges of law. The journal aims to contribute to national scholarship and to support legal practice from a theoretical perspective.

In this regard, the journal welcomes original works in the form of research articles, review articles, case notes, legislation reviews, book reviews, and translations. It covers not only the main fields of law, such as constitutional law, civil law, commercial law, civil procedural law, enforcement and bankruptcy law, criminal law, criminal procedural law, administrative law, international law, labor and social security law, and tax law, but also emerging and interdisciplinary areas of legal debate.

İzmir Bakırçay University Faculty of Law Review operates under a double-blind peer review model. It is published twice a year, in July and December. It provides a forum for scholars and students, as well as legal practitioners such as lawyers, judges, and prosecutors.
