Abstract

 Landsat coverage country wide have been interpreted and a map of lineaments has been prepared. Circular features which are the surface expressions of deep or near surface intrusions have been carefully mapped in order to investigate their relationship (if any) to known mineralizations. From the outset it was postulated that the mineralizations are located at the intersections of lineaments, especially in the vicinity of circular features. To test this hypothesis known mineralizations were placed on this map. It is noted that the metallic mineral deposits can be grouped into ten regions, and out of these, two regions need to be explored more intensively. In some regions selected, locations of possible mineralizations were determined. Earthquake epicenters, mineral water sources and hot spring locations were placed on the lineaments map. It is seen that the hot springs and earthquake epicenters are located on regional fault systems.

Abstract

Uzay görüntülerinin aynı ışık şartlarında geniş alanları planimetrik gözleme olanağını sağlama açısından,
yerbilimlerinde bölgesel değerlendirmeler yapılmasında önemli yerleri vardır. Türkiye'nin tektonik hatlarına genel bir
bakış sağlamak ve maden aramalarında hedef sahalarının belirlenmesine yardımcı olmak amacıyle 1:500 000 ölçekli Türkiye'nin
uzay fotoğraflarının tümü incelenerek bir çizgisellik haritası hazırlanmıştır. Bu haritada Türkiye'de metalik
maden yataklarının on bölgede toplandığı izlenmiş, bunlardan özellikle iki bölgenin yeterince incelendiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
Deprem odakları, madensuları, içmece ve kaplıcaların uzay görüntülerinden hazırlanan çizgiselliklerle ilişkileri
araştırılmış, deprem odaklan ve kaplıcaların bölgesel kırık hatları üzerinde sıralandığı izlenmiştir.
