Thefirstistheradiogenic heat source and the second is the heat flow originated from the upper mantle and the lower crust.In this study, heat flow and the radiogenic heat production of the KırşehirMassif and its geological sources were investigated. Curie point depthswerecalculatedfromaeromagneticdata.Geothermalgradientvalueswereformedby considering the medium as homogenous and isotropic.The heat flow of the region was calculated using the heat transfer values of rock samples collected from the field and it was determined that this value had ranged between 53 mWm-2 and 108 mWm-2. Besides the radiogenic heat production of the study area has been calculated from the radiogenicheatproductionmapoftheregionpreparedbypreviouslygatheredairbornespectralgamma-raydata. As a result of the evaluation of heat flow and heat production maps together, it was calculated that 60-92% of the averageheatflowvaluesoftheregionaremantleand8-38%areradiogenicsourced. Theradiogenicheat productioninthestudyarea,generallyshowedhighanomalyvaluesinyounggranitoidsaspredicted.
